SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE - $2,500 for day shift hire and $3,500 for night shift hire - this will be paid out over a 1-year period IFF is seeking someone to join our Sanitation team in Gibson City, IL. As a Sanitation person in this location, you will work in a unionized, industrial environment. 8-hour days/5 days a week. We offer a competitive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, holiday and a bonus plan. Primary responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to: Handling cleaning/sanitizing chemicals Running floor scrubber Sweeping/mopping areas Follow daily check list   Minimum qualifications for this position include: High School or GED Ability to work safely, including but not limited to use of proper personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes Able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season Must be in good physical health Must be able to climb ladders Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to read/write and follow instructions Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively Ability to determine proper tools and equipment needed to perform a task   While we are interested in all qualified candidates with the potential to work in the United States, we are not able to sponsor visas.
