Join our Scent Technology & Innovation team in Hilversum and contribute to projects that deepen understanding of fragrance performance in fabric care. You’ll work on cutting-edge technologies that impact millions of consumers worldwide. As a trainee/intern, you will be responsible for generating insights into fragrances in fabric care applications. You will be responsible for looking creatively at complicated chemistry and sensorial problems and developing innovative solutions. You will learn to Make a Difference in Develop innovative technical and creative insights into fragrance ingredients and their interactions. Apply data science techniques, such as data analysis and statistical modeling, to explore fragrance components and formula attributes using medium to large datasets. Contribute to experimental studies and assist in developing new methodologies. Plan and lead panel sensory evaluations for validation of calculated results. Conduct literature reviews and monitor emerging technologies to stay ahead of industry trends. Share learnings across teams and support the implementation of insights into practical solutions. What Makes You the Right Fit MSc student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, or related field with a strong foundation in physical chemistry. Understanding Design of Experiments (DoE). Proficiency in the MS Office. Excellent communication skills in English. How Would You Stand Out? Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Good statistical and programming skills (experience with Python, MATLAB, or Octave). Personal: we are looking for an analytical and hands-on student with a data driven mindset.
