As a Per Diem Surgical PA , you’ll collaborate with world-class surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a hospital that pioneered surgical teaching in the U.S. Our Department of Surgery continues a proud tradition of innovation, offering advanced and minimally invasive procedures across multiple specialties. What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients admitted to the hospital Perform consults, manage floor duties, and assist with OR coverage Work Monday–Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays Specialties You’ll Support: General Surgery, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic, Upper GI & Small Bowel, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, and Urology Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year experience in surgical or critical care medicine Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies NYS PA Licensure Current NCCPA Certification ACLS/BLS NYS Infection Control Certification DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber compliance Why NYP Brooklyn Methodist?
