This 400,000 –square foot, multi-specialty ambulatory center encompasses a Comprehensive Cancer and Women’s Health Center, 12 ambulatory surgery operating rooms and Multispecialty physician practices. Procedural Coordinator – GI Practice – Center for Community Health – Days As a Procedural Coordinator, you will provide support to the Gastroenterology and Hepatology practice and will be responsible for coordinating procedures for and between multiple subspecialties, in accordance with department-specific guidelines. You will proactively coordinate with the pre-surgical testing lab, radiology, referrers, and finance to obtain all required documentation and supplies prior to the procedures.  You will enforce and execute appropriate Operating Room scheduling documentation and policies and procedures while building and maintaining relationships with proceduralists and their offices.  You will be involved in what makes patient care here an exceptional example of quality care and brilliant innovation. The Procedural Coordinator will ensure service excellence is provided to patients, customers and other internal partners.  This is a full-time day shift position predominately working between Mondays – Fridays from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.  This position is located at the Center for Community Health at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.  Preferred Criteria  Bachelor's Degree Previous experience supporting GI patients Required Criteria High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of surgical scheduling experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
