Find out how you can Make It Possible.  Take on this impactful role. Use your expertise in wound and ostomy care as you deliver pre- and post-operative treatment and education to patients and their families. Work independently while enjoying shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues and much more. Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, and participate in initiatives focused on improving quality and performance, such as minimizing readmissions of our patients.   This is a Full Time 12.5 hour shift position working Monday - Friday 6a-7:15p and 7a-8:15pm; flexibility on start and end times is required to meet department needs. Also includes occasional Split weekend coverage.  Preferred Criteria Applicable experience in an academic medical center (includes experience partnering with interns/residents/attendings) Masters preferred  Required Criteria Bachelor’s degree in Nursing NYS RN License At least 4 years of acute care nursing experience Certification in Wound and Ostomy Care Graduation from an accredited wound and ostomy nursing education program BCLS certification Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills to drive engagement An independent thinker who can quickly resolve patient care issues utilizing the skills and knowledge of the interdisciplinary team Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
