You will also collect medication history and allergy information from patients and accurately document in the electronic medical record when applicable. Additional duties include maintaining all quality assurance data and procedures associated with the non-sterile and sterile preparation area and product prepared. This is a full-time day/evening shift position 11:00am-7:00pm including rotating weekends/holidays located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Preferred Criteria: One year of experience in hospital or community pharmacy practice setting. Required Criteria: High School Diploma or GED New York State Pharmacy Technician License. Certified pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Basic computer literacy.
