Location Bronxville, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: Technician Medical Surgical (MA) - OB/GYN- Westchester County Full Time -Days Assists with diagnostic procedures using aseptic principles in creating and maintaining a sterile field during procedures. Uses technical skills regarding positioning, wound care, and dressings. Prepares, collects and arranges for disposition of specimens; and transports patients. Maintains stock items for examination and blood drawing rooms, forms used by clinical staff, etc. Notifies appropriate others to order depleted stock. Maintains a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for patient care; assists in the cleaning and maintenance of technical equipment used in patient care and utility room; reports equipment requiring repairs to appropriate others. May answer telephones and issue appointments as needed. Performs other job-related duties as required. For cross-coverage, you will be expected to cover other practices as needed.   This is a full-time day position,   Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (with a potential Saturday) schedule may vary, overtime as approved by the department . Must be flexible and will be expected to provide coverage across other Westchester Medical Group locations as needed. Primary Locations include : 141 S. Broadway, 3rd Floor Ste. 300, Yonkers, NY Preferred Criteria Medical Assistant Certification One or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant Knowledge Of Authorizations.
