Purpose As a Supply Planning Manager within Global Sourcing, you will lead our mission to build the industry's most agile, competitive, innovative, and sustainable supply base. Managing planning teams across multiple Operation Centers, you'll ensure optimal product availability by aligning supply with demand—delivering the right products at the right time and cost. Key Responsibilities Strategic Supply Management : Execute planning processes across Operation Centers to maximize product availability through data-driven decision making and problem-solving Team Leadership : Develop high-performing planning teams through mentorship and creating a collaborative environment that drives results Cross-Functional Excellence : Build strong partnerships across Operations, Manufacturing, and Sales to improve planning processes and service levels DAILY JOB Make production allocation decisions that balance customer satisfaction with manufacturing constraints at Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier levels Monitor delivery performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives with Operations Managers and factory leadership Provide exceptional customer service to Markets, sales teams and Business Units and drive customer-centric mentality with T1 and T2 supply partners Address material availability issues to ensure uninterrupted production flow Assess suppliers’ capacity reliability, order confirmation accuracy, and planning effectiveness Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives as a project member or subject matter expert Identify, suggest and execute continuous improvement projects using lean principles and state of the art digital tools Manage stakeholder relationships effectively while maintaining operational excellence Follow adidas' Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, company standards and legal requirements Model inclusive leadership that supports our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Key Relationships Global Product Development and Sourcing Manufacturing partners (Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers) Global Supply Planning and Order Management Other global functions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5+ years of experience in supply planning Proven experience leading teams and improving operations Strong analytical ability with data-driven decision-making Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and supply chain management tools Knowledge of Power BI, Python, SQL, DAX would be considered a plus Requisite Education and Experience Diploma or degree in related areas, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience Minimum 5+ years of relevant business experience
