The #Maintenance & Reliability #Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support on planned and unplanned repairs, modifications, and upgrades of #production equipment in Falcon, Dragon, and #Starshield programs in Hawthorne. Maintenance Engineers are the primary technical resource for Maintenance #Technicians and support the day-to-day resolution of the most challenging technical issues facing the team. __ Taking end-to-end ownership of equipment improvement projects; from concept, through design and implementation. This role plays a key part in maximizing critical production equipment availability, enabling #SpaceX to rapidly pursue its mission to make life multiplanetary. __ Define, develop, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies for critical #production equipment Own complex equipment improvement projects to maximize availability and minimize unplanned downtime. __ Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technically complex equipment failures. __ Develop and action engineering solutions to repetitive bad actor failures that adversely affect #manufacturing #operations by performing root cause #analysis (RCA), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and fault tree analysis (FTA).
