Perform the daily #operations of plant leadership through FLIGHT DECK – GE #Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model – to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line for castings foundry which includes OEM and component repair hardware. __ Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution including safety, quality, delivery, and cost. __ #Lead the Tubes & Ducts foundry in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through FLIGHT DECK. __ Ensure continuous #business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. __ Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. __ Apply knowledge of best practices and awareness of competition to differentiate in the market. __ Propose #solutions outside of set parameters to address complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and interdependent production cycles. __ Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. __ Explain information, develop skills to bring team members to consensus, and convey performance expectations. __ Implement daily #management process using FLIGHT DECK to create an escalation process that improves safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
