As the CAD Operator and #Document Controller, you will be responsible for supporting our #engineering team by producing precise #technical drawings and #managing project documentation. This role requires proficiency in #CAD software and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate design output and secure document control throughout the project lifecycle.   This is a role that will require flexibility. Because it is a 24/7 operation, other shifts or schedules may be required.   A day in the life of a CAD Operator and Document Controller Create, modify, and maintain 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCADInterpret technical specifications, site measurements, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce accurate drawingsCollaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet design standards and project requirementsMaintain drawing logs and ensure version control of all design filesAssist in preparing as-built drawings and final documentation packagesManage the flow of engineering and project documentation, including purchase orders issued by the engineer team and drawingsMaintain document control procedures and systems (SharePoint)Ensure timely distribution and retrieval of documents to/from internal teams and external stakeholdersTrack document revisions, approvals, and ensure compliance with quality standardsArchive and safeguard confidential and sensitive project dataPerform work in according to Nestle compliance standards and Ontario bylaws.
