As a #Bartender, you are an extension of the #brand, the #management #team, and the overall food and beverage #program. __ As a result, you will be responsible for professional, charismatic, and energetic behavior to create a fun environment that encourages conversation and #sales. __ A successful bartender will greet customers, learn and remember their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve drinks. __ You will also upsell items, create recipes, use appropriate equipment and ingredients, and perform basic cleaning tasks. __ You must be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and pleasant, with a thirst for handcrafted cocktails! __ Follow the #service steps and company guidelines to prepare cocktails and other juices and beverages used at the bar. __ #Maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with other bartenders to: wash glasses and utensils after each use, clean #customers, and clean the work area. __ To guide guests and members on the beverage options learned in House Tonic training sessions. __ Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items, and food pairing options to drive upsell by creating an ideal dining experience. __ Receive payment for all items sold and operate a cash register. __ Verify customer identification to ensure they meet the age requirements for purchasing alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as determine when a customer has consumed excessive amounts of alcohol. __ Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and can increase overall sales and the member/guest experience. __ Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner. __ Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate the replenishment of items to the Barbacks. __ Mix ingredients according to beverage recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program and a consistent experience. __ Performs other tasks as assigned by the #supervisor/manager.
