The powertrain #architecture and modeling team develops a parametric vehicle model that is utilized for vehicle architecture #design, performance evaluation, and decision-making. As a Vehicle Modeling #Software Engineer, you will focus on enhancing the software infrastructure that supports our vehicle modeling efforts. __ This role involves improving reliability and efficiency of modeling infrastructure, implementing automation of modeling workflows, and data #management. Your work will be highly collaborative, working closely with vehicle modelers and other cross-functional teams such as #IT, vehicle firmware, fleet analytics, and design #automation software teams. __ Infrastructure Reliability: Implement repository functions to ensure maximum reliability of the model “development” branch. Address and mitigate bad habits or practices by vehicle modelers that inadvertently break the model, reducing debugging time and improving workflow efficiency. Bring industry best practices such as unit tests, metrics tracking, error handling, etc. __ Automation: Collaborate with vehicle modelers to create automation framework, job management, and functions for repetitive tasks. Full utilization of continuous integration systems to improve speed of daily #operations.
