The #Mechanical #Lead will support the Mechanical #Engineering Group #Supervisor in leading other Mechanical Engineers who will prepare design and procurement documents for the Sentinel Project. __ This position has #technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating these assignments as they pertain to HVAC systems as well as unique requirement driven equipment. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills and proven problem-solving capabilities. __ Additionally, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), can be the “face” of Bechtel, promoting our leadership, quality, and safety values, to external partners including vendors, construction companies, and other subcontractors. __ Provide direction and technical guidance to discipline work group and assist the #management of discipline work process execution and ensure technical adequacy in accordance with company, contract, and industry codes and standards. __ Assist in the building of an inclusive team environment where all are able and expected to contribute to the maximum of their capabilities. __ Provide leadership and mentoring to team members. Establish or assist in establishing and maintaining work plans to ensure schedules are met and stakeholder requirements are satisfied. Create and track actions, estimate hours, and update schedules.
