This role focuses on creating computational models to analyze the abuse tolerance of high-voltage components and systems within #Tesla's diverse #product line. The #Analysis #Engineer will leverage these models to assess potential hazards and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development of safer and more robust battery packs. __ Develop heat transfer, fluid flow, and combustion models to simulate system performance under abuse scenarios. __ #Design novel tests to study battery properties in abusive conditions and correlate findings with computational models. Build and utilize first-principle analytical models to accelerate design decisions. __ Establish standards to guide design directions for new programs. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into battery pack development.
