Optimize and tune #database performance, including advanced query #optimization. __ Design, maintain, and improve libraries connecting #product applications to databases, including #caching layers. __ Implement and manage caching strategies and database migrations. __ Collaborate closely with product engineers to ensure database changes align with and support application needs. __ Script regularly for automation, infrastructure, and reliability tasks (e.g., YAML, Pulumi). __ Build tools and libraries to enhance database #reliability and streamline developer workflows. __ Work in Linux/bash environments for scripting and systems operations. __ Collaborate on the main #Webflow application, primarily written in Node.js __ Support and scale MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production environments. __ Apply database reliability engineering practices to both SQL and NoSQL systems. __ Demonstrable experience and expertise in multiple technical domains. __ Contribute to building and executing on functional strategy. __ Lead projects that directly contribute to team and #engineering organization's deliverables. __ Author, collaborate on, and evaluate design documents. __ Influence technical designs and team-level prioritization as well as participate in technical solutions. __ Collaborate with product managers in an autonomous, supportive team environment. __ Mentor junior engineers in technical skills and Webflow culture. __ Participate in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, strengthening and improving our hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.
