In this role as #Senior #Structural #Engineer, you will support the structural design for the project. This will entail originating/checking complex structural calculations, specifications, material requisitions, and technical studies or reports. Additionally, checking of design drawings and review and coordination of vendor information and leading technical discussions and constructability reviews. __ #Designs structures using advanced knowledge of structural #analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering. __ Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements. __ Originates and checks complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions. __ Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs for proposals, forecasts, and change orders Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals. __ Plans, coordinates, or prepares equipment, work and material specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations.
