The right candidate will have a proven sales track record of Commercial / Enterprise Sales. You will bring experience selling similar types of #software and SaaS #solutions and be truly passionate about the future of open source software. __ Meet or exceed quota while fostering strong #customer relationships __ Articulate the value of #GitLab to Mid Market prospects and customers __ Take ownership of the business in your territory: document buying criteria, processes, next steps, and owners __ Build a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting activity __ Prospect and close new business to expand territory __ Ensure adoption of GitLab solutions and minimize churn/contraction __ Collaborate with #Partner ecosystem to drive new business and customer value __ Create accurate quarterly forecasts against plan/budget __ Drive attendance to GitLab events and network with customers and prospects __ Contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses and share lessons learned with internal teams __ Document improvements in the sales handbook __ Collaborate with Customer Success, Renewals, #Sales Development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure positive customer outcomes __ Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to GitLab’s public issue tracker __ Master MEDPICC and Command of the Message #methodology on all opportunities
