Generates 2-D Computer Aided #Design (CAD) plant layouts and drawings using Microstation / Auto CAD / Smart Sketch from detailed design 3-D CAD model with minimal guidance from others. Knowledge of Revit shall be added advantage. __ Proficient in S3D modelling – Equipment modelling, Raceway, Grounding and lighting. __ Works independently in the preparation of 3-D CAD design model under the #supervision of experienced designers. Assists in constructing detailed models and participates in client model reviews. __ Prepares design calculations as applicable, to be used in the discipline. __ Prepares bulk material quantity takeoffs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the discipline. Compiles, maintains and accesses job drawing files, records, and drawing controls. __ Works with designers in other disciplines to coordinate overall design and #technical requirements.
