Execute DB policies for #managing and maintaining the acer’s databases, ensuring #data security, system availability, and optimal performance. Improve and optimize the policy. __ Plan and execute database installation, upgrades, backups, and recovery operations. __ Develop and implement database security #mechanisms. __ Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance through parameter tuning, performance analysis, and other techniques. __ Troubleshoot and resolve database problems in a timely manner, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents. __ Demonstrate leadership to the DBA team, set objectives, and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills to carry out their duties effectively. __ Work closely with development teams to ensure that database design and coding align with industry standards and best practices. __ Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and #technologies in the database field and make recommendations on their adoption
