What you’ll be doing: Evaluate travel insurance applications, #analyzing risk exposure to determine appropriate coverage and pricing. Review and approve insurance and reinsurance quotes within your #authority, or recommend alternatives if the risk exceeds your limits. Prepare pricing models and assess quotes, including exploring creative underwriting solutions and reference-based pricing options. Monitor claims trends and loss ratios to adjust underwriting strategies accordingly. Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and sales teams to optimize coverage and pricing strategies. Build strong relationships with brokers, agents, and partners, providing underwriting #support and training on policy features and guidelines. Ensure all underwriting activities comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements in applicable markets.
