The Lead Software Architect will be responsible for ensuring the design and development of software architecture aligns with business objectives and scalability. You will partner cross-functionally to define system requirements and design solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex engineering systems. You will be responsible for driving innovation through prototyping and evaluating new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance development processes __ Responsibilities Key Responsibilities As the test expert of BMS domain, interface with Engineering, Offering, #V&V, #TAC and #ISC to define and execute end to end quality goals (from requirements to design to manufacturing), ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices across BMS product lines (Edge to Cloud). Research and evaluate new and emerging test methodologies including test automation framework, test simulation, impact based regression and DevSecOps integration (Continuous testing) instilling BIQ and speed in test execution. Builds in a mechanism to analyze Post Release Defects, understands newer Deployment scenarios of the Product/System & develops Defect Prevention strategies at scale (across BMS domain) Does a periodic gap analysis of the Functional test KPAs like Test estimation, Test environment & infrastructure, Test strategy, Test planning, Test execution, Competency and defines strategies to improve maturity Gets involved in Requirement reviews to ensure completeness of Deployment scenarios, use cases and testability aspects of Functional & Non-Functional requirements using Domain, Product & Functional Test knowledge Works with the System Architect to mitigate the architectural risks of the program in early phases & participates in design reviews and CDRs to identify and mitigate failure modes Provide technical leadership and guidance on the selection, implementation, and integration of new test tools including automation and simulation to V&V team members. Ensures compliance with relevant industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements across BMS product lines. Mentor and train test engineers on best practices and BMS automation.
