- Develop a deep understanding of TikTok's online safety policies and content moderation practices; - Stay abreast of emerging policy trends and EU legislative developments in the area of online safety, as it relates to a video sharing platform; - Provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders on potential implications for TikTok’s business and operations; - Lead on the development of public policy positions and advocacy campaigns in Brussels, as well as organising relevant events, aligned with the business strategy; - Build world class relationships with relevant stakeholders, including policy makers, legislators and business associations, to help achieve public policy goals; - Manage relationships with agencies and relevant trade associations. __ Qualifications __ Minimum Qualifications - Significant experience working in public affairs in Brussels; - Excellent understanding of EU regulatory and policy issues impacting video sharing platforms in the area of digital safety and content regulation; - Strong contact network in Brussels across the EU institutions; - Excellent written and oral communication skills; - Positive, with a can-do attitude - A self-starter who can work independently but also highly values building strong relationships with teammates and cross-functional colleagues. __ Preferred Qualifications - Multi-lingual skills would be beneficial given the locality and nature of the work; - Professional experience with #digital #content, #video sharing and or social media platforms.
