As a Purchaser, you'll be responsible for the entire purchasing cycle and play a crucial role in ensuring our processes run smoothly. Your work will be dynamic and varied, requiring you to balance daily purchasing with project-based tasks. You are responsible for the purchasing of materials, services (OPEX) and machines (CAPEX)#Purchasing. You develop and implement purchasing policies with the aim of achieving the most optimal TCO#TCO. You are involved in drawing up purchasing specifications together with internal customers. You evaluate and select (international) suppliers and request quotes#SupplierSelection. You negotiate contracts, prices and conditions and are responsible for contract and supplier management#ContractManagement. You lead or collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams, both locally and globally, and are responsible for the purchasing process within those teams#ProjectCollaboration. You implement cost reduction programs and report on supplier performance.
