Lead & Empower Manage, mentor, and grow a team of release engineers responsible for the #systems that power Temporal’s release and deployment processes. __ Set clear goals, define success metrics, and foster a culture of accountability, reliability, and continuous learning. __ Provide #technical guidance and architectural direction while empowering #engineers to take ownership of key initiatives. __ Deliver & Improve: Oversee the design and implementation of automation that orchestrates every step of the release process using Temporal. __ Drive consistency, safety, and reliability across build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows. Champion release quality and operational excellence — reducing friction, human intervention, and production risk. __ Collaborate & Align Partner closely with teams across Infrastructure, Cloud, and Product Engineering to improve release readiness and velocity. Work with leadership to shape the roadmap for Temporal’s internal delivery systems and automation strategy. Communicate clearly across functions to ensure transparency, alignment, and trust in release operations. __ Own & Evolve: Take ownership of the team’s technical and operational outcomes. Continuously refine processes and tooling to improve efficiency, observability, and reliability. __ Build and maintain documentation, standards, and reusable frameworks that scale with the company.
