About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Office Location : Istanbul, Turkey The Role : In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships and driving net sales growth for strategically important and influential client segments within the Commodity Insights business. Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base and increasing subscription revenue by exploring new business footprints. Joining our team means becoming part of a growing organization that offers future career opportunities.” Responsibilities: Consultative Sales and Negotiations, Increased Customer Engagement: Manage and execute the sales process to meet and exceed revenue quotas. Employ consultative sales techniques to cultivate referrals, generate new opportunities, actively follow up on leads, and drive a healthy pipeline characterized by strong velocity and volume. Proactively seek out engaging new customer groups while collaborating with marketing and sales specialists to convert prospects into sales, with a keen focus on acquiring new customers to boost both subscription deal sizes and the number of new logos in our customer base. Strategy and Planning: You will be significant in creating and executing strategic direction within your designated territory and regularly updating your customer-centric sales strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders to align with client needs and S&P Global Commodity Insights’ broader strategy. Leverage insights gained from client interactions and input from other functions to provide maximum value and achieve optimal results for Commodity Insights. Reporting: Conduct monthly activity reporting that includes feedback on client and market developments that impact the business. Provide accurate forecasting against pipeline achievements and annual contract value (ACV). Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director for the region to establish a robust and consistent strategy while ensuring that all leads, activities, and customer needs are captured in a timely manner. Qualifications: Fluency in both Russian and English is essential. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Candidates must possess the necessary work authorization to be eligible for employment without the need for sponsorship or assistance.  Understanding of commodities markets, with direct experience in the energy sector—particularly oil and gas—is highly desirable. Ideally 3+ years of experience maintaining total sales at or above quota, preferably in commodity or financial information provider role.
