About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team : Markit OTC Derivatives Data service covers several data products including volatility surfaces, yield curves and forward curves on a cross asset class basis i.e. Rates, Equities, FX and Commodities to buy-side institutions globally. The Impact:  Markit OTC Derivatives Data product is looking for a dynamic individual to take responsibility for managing product operations in APAC region that includes management of daily market data feeds and derived data set across all asset classes, client price challenges and product enhancements What’s in it for you: Opening in derivative profile will provide exposure of multiple asset classes like Rates, Equities, FX and Commodities. This will also provide client facing experience with opportunity to work with product development team. Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the quality of market data and for the consistency and integrity of market data objects such as yield curves, forward curves and volatility surfaces across all asset classes. Take functional ownership of the market data management platform and work with the technology and product teams Ensure that data cleaning and quality control processes are performed, working with the product team to specify improvements and with the technology team to implement them. Providing response to the clients on the queries and challenges. To work closely with the local sales and business development teams in pitching OTC Derivatives Data business to prospective clients and lead the on-boarding of customers What We’re Looking For: Good undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree from a recognized university. CFA or FRM is must Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel, VBA and SQL Some previous exposure to market data objects such as yield curves, forward curves or volatility surfaces is preferable 2-3 years’ experience in the structured derivatives markets (e.g. trading, quant / sales structuring, risk analysis, model validation, product control, collateral or valuations analysis etc.) About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
