About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Impact: The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value. The Scrum Master contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on predefined business priorities. Act as Servant leader to an Agile team Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives. Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team. Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency What We’re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: 6-10 yrs experience leading teams as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) Self confidence Strong sense of urgency when needed Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks Team-first, servant leader mentality Preferred Qualifications: Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or CSM Scaled Agile and/or Scrum experience.
