Job Title: - Static Engineer   (PMC Offshore Project)                 KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of Static Engineer ( PMC role)   for an Offshore Project to be based in Contractor’s Office. Profile matching below criteria only will be contacted. Job Requirements: Supports static equipment engineering needs across Projects and Operations organization. Stewardship of engineering work quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. Supports technical evaluations to address issues with equipment and system design, operation, and maintenance. Provides pertinent engineering expertise to Root Cause Failure Analysis. Reviews project and contractor deliverables as requested to ensure compliance with project specifications, Design Practices, Static Equipment Toolkit guidance, and best practices.  Documents to be reviewed may include Piping & Instrument Diagrams, equipment arrangements, equipment specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals, and technical studies. Participates in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations as requested. Coordination of communication between different stakeholders in Projects and Operations organization. Coordination of teleconferences and management of communication and reporting tools. Supports functional initiatives and maintains discipline documentation pertinent to company facilities. Provides technical mentorship to early-career professionals, with emphasis in areas of identified skill gaps. Participates in internal networks through which their capabilities can be disseminated to the benefit of others.  Maintains current knowledge (e.g., through participation in industry conferences / forums) while proactively growing discipline’s technical expertise in pertinent technologies on continuous basis. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from recognized university with minimum GPA 6.0 or above. Minimum Overall 10+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry. Minimum 5 years’ experience in responsible roles in static equipment engineering design for projects in the Oil and Gas Industry. Minimum 5 years of experience in upstream oil and gas engineering projects. Having minimum 5 years of previous experience working in Offshore projects would be an added advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience working for upstream oil and gas company will be preferred Experience with operating pressure vessels heat exchangers and tanks including equipment selection, sizing, design, installation, preservation, commissioning, start-up, operation, surveillance, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, and decommissioning. Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in a similar position for a mega oil and gas construction project ( more than US$ 1 Billion)
