The selected candidate will operate under the direct supervision of a CM and support projects around ground-based mobile satellite communication systems and radio frequency engineering. The CM Intern will receive direct mentorship in being able to plan and integrate technical data and structures into a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool. This position will apply principles and techniques of CM to support engineering and drafting on project. Roles and Responsibilities · Assist in reviewing and preparing data for integration into PLM Tool · Apply CM principles in areas of engineering structures · Validate internal and vendor part numbers · Provide latest versions of documents and drawings for engineering · Review document formatting, spelling and grammar · Communicate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, manufacturing personnel, management, vendors, customers, and subcontractors. · Support engineering documentation, i.e., drawings, project specifications, procedures, test data and results · Abide by company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks · Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance Basic Qualifications · Must be a U.S. citizen and have valid documentation · Must be currently enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science. Preferred Qualifications · Basic knowledge of Configuration Management and PLM tools · Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills · Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week Salary Range : $20-$30/hr The salary range posted is based on Colorado Springs, CO. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
