The Island Australia roster boasts an enviable and diverse line-up of talent including, Dean Lewis, Peach PRC, Baker Boy, Hilltop Hoods, Vera Blue and Matt Corby among others.  We are looking for a digitally savvy person to join our team in the role of  Digital & Social Manager  based in Sydney. You would be joining a forward-thinking team that knows the rate of change in the industry and gets ahead of it. The Role Create, deliver and coordinate digital marketing campaigns for our domestic and international releases.  Create and deliver digital assets, including audio, static, and audiovisual content, for use across social media, streaming, and other digital platforms.  Produce high quality and engaging video content - from ideation, examples, capture, edits, and delivery; and sourcing artist/genre-relevant references to guide content planning and execution.  Develop and execute audience growth and engagement strategies that drive the awareness and consumption of our domestic repertoire locally and globally.  Assist in developing data capture strategy across various data channels.  Conduct channel audits across all label and artist profiles to ensure peak performance.  Manage strategy, rollout and content distribution across label and artist channels.  Drive e-commerce success through social media and websites.  Identify content, community, and creator/influencer & platform collaboration opportunities for our artists.  Assist in establishing the online tone, branding and presence of each artist, telling their story and bringing their vision to life online.  Report on all relevant metrics across our label and artist roster, identifying target audiences and getting to know the community profiles of our fanbases.  Build and maintain relationships across the industry.  Understand and police the Universal Content Guidelines and educate artist / management on implementation.  About You A technically astute and driven individual who has experience working in digital marketing in entertainment (ideally within Music or entertainment Industry).  Must be super passionate about music!  Have a great understanding of social media including short-form content platforms (FB/IG Reels, YT Shorts, TikTok), online communities (Discord, Twitch, Reddit, fan-led pages on FB Groups/IG/X etc), streaming services, and other digital platforms.  Experience in teams delivering multiple fan and partner activations.  Highly organised individual that can work to strict deadlines.  Be able to take on feedback and make changes as required.  Natural creative eye and ability to digitally ideate bringing the artist vision to life.  Software knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva; HTML editors such as Dreamweaver, video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, and Microsoft and Google Suite.  Knowledge of eCRM best practice and how to grow and nurture email databases.  HTML & CSS, WordPress skills & knowledge of how to get a website live is a bonus.  Possesses an aptitude for working with content creation and social media, and quickly adapts to new trends, platforms and digital developments.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships.  Experience in commissioning/producing audio/visual content and assets.  Tertiary qualification preferred, but not essential.  About Us Career opportunities – unique and rare opportunity to elevate your career in a supportive, motivated and ambitious team  The opportunity to join the WORLDS leading music company  All the perks of working within the music industry (did someone say live music?)  X 2 ‘U-Days’ per calendar year to spend however you like!  Strengths based learning and development opportunities  Much more….!  Diversity & Inclusion At Universal Music we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity as an equal opportunity employer.
