Este equipo es responsable de la atención a fallas y la mantención proactiva de una infraestructura de telecomunicaciones troncalizada (trunking) que soporta un sistema de misión crítica. Su labor será fundamental para asegurar la continuidad operacional y la alta disponibilidad de las comunicaciones esenciales. Job Description Este proyecto estratégico tiene como objetivo garantizar la continuidad y la alta disponibilidad de las telecomunicaciones críticas para las principales instituciones de Seguridad y Respuesta ante Emergencias de Chile: Carabineros de Chile, la Policía de Investigaciones (PDI) y SENAPRED (Servicio Nacional de Prevención y Respuesta ante Desastres). La iniciativa asegura una comunicación robusta y de misión crítica con un índice de disponibilidad superior al 99.99%, vital para la coordinación operativa, la respuesta a emergencias y la protección de la ciudadanía a nivel nacional Entre sus actividades: Mantenimiento Preventivo y Proactivo: Este conjunto de tareas busca evitar fallas antes de que ocurran, manteniendo la infraestructura en condiciones óptimas Inspección y Rutinas Periódicas: Realizar chequeos físicos de racks, cableado (fibra óptica y cobre), sistemas de tierra y protecciones eléctricas. Verificar y registrar los parámetros de rendimiento (niveles de potencia, tasas de error, jitter) de equipos troncales (trunking), repetidores, switches y routers. Actualizaciones y Configuración: Aplicar actualizaciones de firmware y software a los equipos de telecomunicaciones (radios, gateways, switches L2/L3) siguiendo ventanas de mantenimiento programadas. Generar y validar backups de las configuraciones de los equipos críticos. Sistemas Auxiliares: Revisar el estado y la operatividad de los sistemas de energía de respaldo (UPS, baterías y generadores), realizando pruebas de descarga. Monitorear y mantener los sistemas de climatización de las salas técnicas y shelters para asegurar la temperatura adecuada del equipo. #LI-DR2 Basic Requirements Estudiantes de programas técnicos superiores en electronica, eléctrica, Telecomunicaciones, Informatica, o afines.
