You'll be right on the front lines, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our elite SOC analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters. This is your chance to directly defend Motorola Solutions’ customers against the latest threats, from stealthy malware and crippling ransomware to sophisticated threat actors! Get ready for a hands-on keyboard experience! You will build foundational skills in uncovering threats, deciphering complex network traffic, and honing in on security threats. Learn the playbook of cyber attackers and how to spot the crucial signs of compromise—this is where your cybersecurity career truly begins! Qualifications: To ensure a successful and rewarding internship experience, you will need to demonstrate certain essential skills and attributes. Basic understanding of networking, including common protocols, either through coursework or self-study. Ability to read and comprehend a scripting language. Familiarity with fundamental concepts of operating systems (Windows and Linux). Demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness (e.g., effective use of search engines like Google). Eager to advance technical skills. Strong desire for continuous learning and growth, with a willingness to embrace challenges. Target Hourly Base Salary Range:  $20.70 - $24.10 USD   Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. #LI-DB1 Basic Requirements Must be currently pursuing a degree with a focus on Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
