Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. Department Overview Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Scheduler to join our Oman Project Team. This role is critical to the delivery of mission-critical operations systems, encompassing the development and implementation of customer applications and company products, ensuring optimal customer performance and success. This role will provide essential project scheduling services to our Oman customer, reflecting our commitment for delivery of on going projects in Oman. Job Description Schedule development and management Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using [Primavera P6 / MS Project / applicable software Track and monitor project progress against the schedule, identifying and reporting variances Work closely with project managers and team leads to capture accurate activity durations, dependencies, and milestones Planning and project controls Assist in the preparation of project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules Support cost and resource forecasting by integrating scheduling data with project controls processes Participate in project review meetings, providing schedule updates and critical path analyses Data analysis, reporting, and presentations Gather data from project teams and field operations to support schedule updates and progress measurement Perform advanced Excel analysis for project metrics, trends, and forecasting Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for different project stakeholders including project managers, executives, and client representatives Develop dashboards and schedule reports to support stakeholder decision-making and project progress transparency Data gathering and coordination Collect progress data from various project stakeholders and ensure timely updates Interface with project teams to verify data accuracy and address discrepancies Coordinate schedule-related activities across multiple departments Identify opportunities to enhance scheduling and reporting processes Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for project scheduling and controls Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of [2+] years of experience in scheduling, planning, and project controls in [construction/engineering/industrial projects].
