The Role The Role A Creative Technologist is a cross-disciplinary person that bridge between a design vision and engineering execution, using experimentation to solve problems in new and novel ways. They Combines technical expertise with human-centered design to prototype and implement innovative solutions. Creative technologists blend expertise in code, hardware, and emerging technologies to bring ideas to life. As a Creative Technologist at Kyndryl Vital Nordics and Baltics, you will: · Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape technical concepts aligned to human-centered design. · Rapidly prototype interactive, testable experiences to drive alignment, learning, and value. · Apply emerging technologies to business challenges, including AI/ML/GenAI, IoT, and immersive interfaces. · Lead feasibility analysis and ethical review of technology choices. Required Technical and Professional Expertise · Human-Centered Design: You have a deep understanding of human-centered design methods and mindset. · Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: You excel at uniting design and engineering. · Innovation: You can apply new applications for emerging tech. · Rapid Prototyping: You can create context-appropriate, low- to high-fidelity digital and physical prototypes. · Feasibility Analysis: You can assess design’s technical feasibility, system integration, and implementation pathways. · Storytelling: You can translate prototypes and technical insights into compelling narratives. · AI and Data Ethics: You leverage AI tools and data strategies with awareness of equity, bias, and transparency. Who You Are Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise · 3 plus years of relevant experience (dependent on level) · Vertical domain experience (e.g., finance, retail, healthcare, industrial) · Experience in both enterprise and agency worlds · Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, and platform capabilities · Background in behavioral science, change management, or design research · Applied or academic experience with data science, AI/ML, or HCI You may specialize more deeply in: o AI/ML/GenAI o Phygital / Immersive Design o IoT / Connected Product Design o Mobile and Web Front-End Engineering Required Education · Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent demonstrable portfolio of work). Preferred Education · Advanced degree or certification in design, HCI, computer science, or related (e.g., MDM, MDes, MFA, d.MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
