The Role Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions?  Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle.  You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs.  Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Not only will you help keep our customer’s networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation, conduct project planning and cost analysis, and build proof-of-concept solutions with networking system technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate them accurately to the team, and ensure they are appropriately fulfilled. You will use your expertise to design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP, that address customer requirements. You will also provide high-quality technical solutions to our customers to prepare them for implementation, go-live, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage network infrastructure to guarantee high availability and optimal performance. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers). Implement and maintain network security policies and standards. Perform proactive capacity planning and performance tuning. Support incident and problem management processes, including root cause analysis and resolution of network-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during war rooms for critical incident resolution. Integrate network monitoring with observability platforms (Zabbix, Grafana) Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of network operations. Required Technical and Professional Expertise •5+ years of experience focused on network support, configuration, and implementation •5+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls •Networking and security architecture and engineering support experience across local and regional domains •Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision . Proven experience in network administration and troubleshooting. . Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations. . Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana) and observability frameworks. . Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Major Incident Management). . Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) and good English for technical documentation. . Availability for hybrid work model (on-site at client facilities and remote). Preferred Technical and Professional Experience . Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center experience . Experience with design and implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks . Experience with protocols and technologies such as, BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC Soft Skills: . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Clear and effective communication. . Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks under pressure. . Proactive mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
