As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be at the forefront of protecting Kyndryl's customers’ computer systems and networks from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to defend against a wide range of cyber threats, such as malware, ransomware, phishing attacks, and data breaches. But that's not all – at Kyndryl, you will also have the opportunity to implement new cybersecurity systems and policies to ensure the protection of our customers’ data and assets. You will monitor and review potential threats from various cybersecurity systems and conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) with new cyber security software to evaluate its effectiveness and potential integration into the organization's systems. Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of Kyndryl's customers’ network and systems, but you will also enrich the organization’s knowledge towards potential cyber threats and best practices. You will provide automation scripts for threat hunting in customer environments using lessons learned from Cyber-attacks. You will also have the opportunity to conduct penetration testing and threat and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and networks, responding to cybersecurity breaches and identifying intrusions. You will research and evaluate cybersecurity threats and perform root cause analysis, all while assisting in the creation and implementation of security solutions. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 4 years of exp required. Experience in Managing both on-prem and cloud-based WAF deployments: Citrix NetScaler: Oversee 4 SDX appliances and 11 VPX instances (3 cloud + 8 on-prem), supporting ~1500 internet-facing applications. Imperva WAF: Manage gateway appliances and virtual deployments, ensuring high availability, low latency, and SSL acceleration Configure and maintain WAF policies, signatures, and profiles. Apply Web App Firewall protection to VPN, authentication, and portal endpoints in NetScaler environments Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and vendor best practices Handle 3–4 change requests and 10–12 troubleshooting tasks weekly for WAF platforms Support L3-level incident response and RCA for WAF-related alerts and anomalies Collaborate with SOC and SIEM teams to correlate WAF logs with broader threat detection workflows Monitor WAF performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and SSL/TLS transaction rates Tune policies to reduce false positives and ensure minimal impact on application performance. Implement fault-tolerant configurations with hot-swappable components and high-availability clustering Participate in governance forums and SLA reviews to report on WAF posture and incident metrics Ensure WAF configurations align with compliance frameworks and audit requirements. Contribute to CXO dashboards and Power BI reporting for perimeter security Act as a domain-specific SME within the broader CDC team, collaborating with DLP, EDR, and Cloud Security SMEs Support cross-skilling initiatives to reduce dependency and improve operational resilience Preferred Technical and Professional Experience In depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Tools Netscaler and Imperva Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
