In this role, you will take ownership of L2 incidents, ensure the stability of our business applications, contribute to our cloud engineering efforts, and help our team grow in both skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of L2 application issues, including escalations from L1, and drive them to resolution within SLA. Troubleshoot application problems using logs, SQL queries, API checks, and system monitoring tools. Coordinate with L3, development, infrastructure, and vendor teams for complex or recurring issues. Support releases, patches, and scheduled maintenance by validating and monitoring application behavior. Expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) Enterprise IT application experience Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins. In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux Operating Systems, Containers Platform (EKS, OCP). Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses. Required Skills and Experience At least 3 - 6 years in depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Comfort working with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience A warm leadership style—someone who supports the team, encourages collaboration, and stays steady under pressure. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. Ability to analyze system logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and identify root causes.
