About the Role This position is responsible for formulating investment management strategies for externally managed portfolios to meet the pre-set guidelines of Asset and Portfolio Mandates. Provide effective oversight on, and optimal performance by, external fund managers. Provide assistance to the CIO on the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) process and be accountable for Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) decision-making.  Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of sound investment policy and mandates and to ensure that all investment activities are in compliance to investment policies and mandates.  Responsible for giving overall direction and coordination of investment activities, and operations of Traditional and Unit Linked Funds to ensure correctness, accuracy, and timely delivery of various investment reports. Responsible for leading the portfolio construction process and actively shaping the firm’s asset allocation methodology and recommendations Provide insights for the investment and operational due diligence of local and international fund managers Responsible for the development, launch and registration of all new products; and for setting and updating policies, guidelines and procedures of existing products Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
