Then read on. About the Role Provider Network Coordinator supports the manager of Network Development by developing and managing provider networks and vendor relationships for new and existing sites. Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in developing/managing relationships with targeted hospitals and healthcare providers. Negotiate cost effective contracts in compliance with all providers, and corporate requirements. Manage/negotiate medical claims for non-contracted providers in established markets. Specific projects/data analysis as directed by Medical Network Development. Provide support for pre-bid assessments for the business development team, securing Letters of Intent and establishing preliminary relationships. Responsible for maintaining documentation for all hospital/provider contracts and assisting with providing information for audits. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis. Must be able to communicate with both public and private stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Assist channels for various healthcare related events if needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements: 3-5 years of Managed Care/Healthcare experience 1-3 years of experience in working with contract terms and reimbursement methods Strong skills in MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and Outlook required Excellent written and oral communications skills, multi-tasking, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, teamwork skills, public relations and customer service skills required Fluent (spoken and written) in English and Chinese Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
