About the Role The Senior Manager leads a team that consist of developers assigned to different projects and is also an individual contributor with specific roles in BAU activities/Projects. He/She is also expected to work independently with a strong technical know-how that enables her/him to propose sound, practical solutions to business problems. Influencing skills are a must, not only to resolve conflicts, but also to manage stakeholders across the business and IT community. He/She should already have the ability to think laterally and quickly grasp key concepts, have a positive attitude and be resilient when dealing with business challenges. Coaching, mentoring and monitoring are part of his/her daily tasks and he/she ensures the team has sufficient capability as per KPI set. Must have strong leadership, Initiatives, and teamwork to work with other technology teams in order to help team achieve target. As a developer in Integral Life Delivery Management is responsible for leading the development, deployment and support of Integral Life Application to meet business requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing solutions and development of new technical solutions to improve company’s operations. Roles & Responsibilities: As a team lead, accountable to the team performance and development. Actively discuss with reporting manager(s) to align on expectations and goals setting for the team. Involving in team resource plan and budgeting. In charge of Integral Life system requirement gathering, impact analysis, propose solutions, code development, unit testing, UAT support (incl. UAT EOD batch support) and deployment (BAU and Projects). Obey and follow on prevailing SDLC, Development, and other standards. System delivery according to determined scopes, timeline, and quality. Take accountability/supportive on production incident/problem tickets caused by any disobedience SDLC process. Supportive to provide management updates on system/project related activities. Understand functionalities and technical aspects of the system; analyze technical impact on interfacing systems. To adhere to and support on Integral Life security, standard and compliance matters. Actively participate in Team activities such sharing (knowledges, ideas etc.), mentoring, coaching (junior), system upgrade/maintenance etc. Minimum Requirements: Degree in IT or related areas. Has minimum 10 years of working experience in the application development for life insurance domain using Integral Life/Life Asia COBOL system. Intermediate knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SMART/400, Control Language and SQL development. Fast learner and has strong analytical and impact analysis skills to provide feedbacks/inputs on user requirements. Has good personality and attitude.
