About the Role This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all key financial reporting requirements, including month-end close, group consolidation, statutory financial statements, and regulatory reporting. The position works with the Group Tax team and external tax advisors to ensure on-time tax filings, effective tax planning, and optimal utilization of tax benefits, as well as liaising with tax authorities when required. In addition, the role actively participates in Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities, proactively supporting control owners and finance stakeholders to enhance the reliability, compliance, and integrity of financial reporting across the organization. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information in compliance with internal policies and applicable external regulatory requirements. Execute monthly financial closing activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries (VEA, GOE, and tax‑related), supported by accurate and complete documentation. Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders including Group Financial Service team to obtain required inputs, validate supporting documentation, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and month‑end closing timelines. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting templates and planning reports in accordance with Group reporting deadlines. Analyze and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and commentaries to ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance with applicable financial reporting standards. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, regulators, and relevant government bodies, including the preparation and submission of documentation for regulatory approvals and tax endorsement matters. Coordinate with Group and Myanmar tax teams on tax reporting, manage corporate income tax (CIT) and commercial tax (CT) payments and filings, and support effective tax planning and optimal tax benefit utilization. Ensure accurate and timely submission of all regulatory, FRD, and planning reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Support Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities and financial control testing, coordinating with control owners to ensure timely testing, documentation, and remediation of identified control deficiencies. Lead finance system enhancements, Group projects, and cross‑functional initiatives, while providing ad‑hoc financial reporting and analysis to support management decision‑making. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Financial Reporting and Governance. Minimum Job Requirements: B achelor’s degree in accounting/finance or ACCA part II or III pursuing Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in financial accounting and controls is a must Excellent understanding of IFRS and accounting Software or ERP/SAP knowledge, and familiar with a fast paced, systems automation and a deadline driven working environment Excellent technical and analytical skills with high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a high‑performing environment and adapt comfortably to evolving priorities and new challenges Self-motivated, proactively taking ownership and responsibility Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts Intermediate proficiency in English Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
