You will join an expanding organization where you will use your talents to make a meaningful impact with your team and the more than 900,000 residential and business customers, we serve in over 21 states. The Logistics Specialist receives and tracks Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) inventory of data modems, phone modems, and video converters. This position will be responsible for cleaning, testing, and redistributing returned customer equipment to and from the Local Systems.  ***Please note: A valid driver's license is required for this position*** What you will do to contribute to the company's success     Works with Local Systems and Corporate Departments to procure and distribute CPE inventory products.  Uses inventory software to order, receive, and release all warehouse products.  Completes and maintains appropriate shipping and receiving documentation.  Monitors CPE, plant material, headend equipment, and drop material stock levels to ensure timely re-order of materials.  Manually loads and unloads all truck deliveries and daily pick-ups.   Operates a forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck.  Processes all paperwork including billing of materials, purchase orders, sales orders, equipment transfers, and CPE monthly counts to be filed by the Local Systems and Corporate Office.   Performs accurate monthly and quarterly inventory checks.   Gathers, cleans, tests and redistributes returned Customer Premise Equipment to appropriate location and/or repair vendor.  Collects obsolete units and disposes of them following the appropriate company procedure.  Qualifications   Valid driver’s license and a good driving record is required.   High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Forklift certified preferred.  Core Competencies     Committed:  Values each and every customer, while working hard to keep their business and support our communities.    Helpful:  Delivers support in the ways that are most useful to our customers and addresses their needs with expertise, respect, and empathy.    Proactive:  Understand what our customers need and actively works to make their relationship with use seamless, easy, and rewarding.    Personal:  Knows our customers well, and tailors our communications and interactions to address their needs and expectations.     Benefits    Cable One and our family of brands appreciates the role our associates play to help the company grow, and in return an excellent benefits package is offered to our associates to recognize the importance of their contributions, such as:    Medical, dental, and vision plans – start when you start!    Life insurance (self, spouse, children)   Paid time off (vacation, holiday, and personal/sick days)    401(k) - 100% company match (match program starts immediately, up to 5% of eligible compensation)   Group Legal plan with Identity Theft Protection   Additional Perks     Tuition reimbursement (up to $5,250 on 1st year)    Up to seventy-five dollars a month towards cable and internet services    Annual community support to various organizations across the U.S.    Associate recognition & awards programs   Advancement opportunities    Collaborative work environment    Our Commitment    Diversity lies in the communities we serve and among the associates who dedicate themselves to ensure our continued success.
