We develop highly performant, reusable backend services and AI systems that power customer experiences at scale. The Opportunity Join the Gen AI Experiences team within Adobe Experience Platform, where you’ll build and scale core AI and ML-powered services that enable next-generation customer experiences across Adobe’s digital experience products. You’ll work closely with AI scientists, data engineers, and product teams to bring Generative AI capabilities to life — from large-scale model integration to intelligent data services and APIs powering AI-driven marketing and content personalization. Your work will directly shape how thousands of enterprise customers experience the power of AI within Adobe Experience Cloud. What You’ll Do This is an individual contributor role that demands strong technical expertise and a passion for AI innovation. You will: Design, develop, and optimize Python-based backend services and APIs powering Gen AI experiences. Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers to operationalize AI/ML models for large-scale production use. Build data processing pipelines that enable real-time and batch inference at scale. Contribute to the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features — from experimentation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring. Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services running on cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) . Partner with frontend and product teams to deliver seamless AI-first user experiences across web applications. Uphold procedures for code quality, testing, CI/CD automation, observability, and documentation. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of professional experience building scalable backend systems using Python . Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems design . Experience with machine learning workflows , including model integration, inference optimization, and serving pipelines. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django , and ML tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn . Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow, etc.). Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices architecture . Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills in multi-functional, global teams.
