The Business Control Function Sr. Specialist, SOX Tester for BMS will be a highly collaborative member of the Finance business team. This exceptional team member will support BMS’s business controls activities in BMS’s Hyderabad CoE, and demonstrate the following attributes: Exceptional expertise in financial and operational controls Deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics Outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships across the organization to provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams Open communication and cooperation to ensure BCF activities are executed seamlessly Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required. The position will be based in the BMS’s Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person). Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: Business control activities Performs SOX controls testing, providing timely, effective, and prompt SOX testing results Identifies and assesses financial, operational, and compliance risks to accuracy of financial reporting Evaluates design and operating effectiveness of key controls related to financial reporting Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation of testing procedures, results, and supporting evidence Delivers regular reports on SOX testing status to the Associate Director, BCF Hyderabad Lead, for consumption by BCF Executive Director, AD of SOX Methodology & Program Governance, and Leadership team Assists in the development of internal control enhancements, both proactively and in response to internal control deficiencies identified.
