What success looks like in this role: We’re looking for a seasoned Mobile Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of cross-platform mobile applications—primarily using Flutter —for enterprise environments. You will own end-to-end solution architecture, including mobile app design, API and backend integration, security and compliance, CI/CD, and governance. This role requires close collaboration with UK-based stakeholders and India development teams in an onshore/offshore model. Define and drive cross-platform mobile architecture , optimizing for scalability, performance, and maintainability. Lead Flutter technical strategy, patterns, and codebase organization (e.g., layered architecture, modularization). Select and enforce state management patterns (e.g., BLoC/Cubit, Provider, Riverpod, GetX ) aligned with app complexity, testability, and performance best practices. Guide decisions on navigation, dependency injection, app lifecycle, theming, and localization. Architect and review RESTful service design , including resource modeling, pagination, error handling, and versioning. Ensure secure communication via TLS, certificate pinning, OAuth2/OIDC, and token lifecycle management. Design robust offline capability using local storage and databases (e.g., SQLite, Hive, ObjectBox ), sync strategies, and conflict resolution. Partner with backend teams to define API contracts, performance SLAs, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing). Embed mobile security best practices : secure key storage (e.g., Keychain/Keystore ), secrets management, jailbreak/root detection, secure logging, and runtime protections. Ensure compliance with GDPR , ISO 27001 , and enterprise policies; maintain data minimization, consent, and retention strategies. Run secure SDLC activities: threat modeling, static/dynamic analysis, dependency auditing, and remediation. #LI-ND1 You will be successful in this role if you have: 7–12 years in mobile development/architecture, with at least 3 years hands-on in Flutter and cross-platform architecture. Strong knowledge of state management (BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, etc.) and app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture). Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating secure mobile clients with backend services. Expertise in mobile security , secure storage, compliance frameworks (GDPR/ISO 27001), and secure communication practices. Hands-on with CI/CD for mobile, automated testing, and MDM/MAM integration (e.g., Microsoft Intune ). Experience producing architecture diagrams , data flows, and integration documentation. Background in coding standards, scalability , and operational support of production mobile apps. Track record of successful onshore/offshore delivery (UK/India), stakeholder management, and agile practices.
