We are seeking an experienced Payment Technical Architect to design and implement cutting-edge payment solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong domain knowledge, and leadership skills to drive complex projects in the financial technology space. Key Responsibilities Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance payment systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards. Lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and provide guidance on best practices. Ensure robust security and adherence to PCI-DSS and other compliance frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 12+ years in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5+ years in the payments domain . Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of payment processing systems , transaction flows, and settlement mechanisms. Hands-on experience with Java/.NET , microservices , REST APIs , Kafka , Kubernetes , and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, TLS) and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS). Domain Knowledge: Exposure to card networks (Visa, Mastercard), UPI , wallets, and payment gateways. Understanding of fraud detection , risk management, and reconciliation processes. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
