The Impact of a Lead Cloud Software Engineer at Coupa: As a Lead Software Engineer Cloud, you will play a crucial role in the development of solutions for our Enterprise platform. You will be developing applications that provide self-service and increased efficiency to a diverse group of internal customers across Cloud Operations, Engineering, Customer Success & Support, and Customer Value Management. When you are successful you will significantly accelerate the ability of our teams to better serve our customers. What You'll Do: Building automation to create container technologies and migrate microservices from ECS & Kubernetes to our golden platform (EKS/AKS) Help us migrate our monolithic Ruby on Rails application to a containerized infrastructure built on EKS/AKS Participating in design/evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies Helping Manage CALM Pipeline and Kubernetes POD’s. Contributing to & building the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery. Developing tools and software applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash to grow our operational stack to the next level. Lead AWS Platform Designs for Applications working with Cloud Architecture and Application Architecture Groups. Operationalization of Services Hosted on our AWS Platform using new Relic etc. Support API Gateway and other relevant technologies from Infrastructure. What You Will Bring to Coupa: 8+ years of professional technical experience 4+ years of experience with scripting/programming using Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent Experience with building organizationally-scalable CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent Experience building and operating CI/CD pipeline infrastructure at scale for tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent Experience building developer-centric shared services platforms. Experience with API GW. Experience onboarding development teams to Docker, kubernetes, and/or CI/CD Experience in Cloud Hosting with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud or equivalent Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or equivalent Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Cross plane, or equivalent Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Coupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
