The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work with both internal & external partners from a variety of different industries & backgrounds.This position is based in our Seoul office and the role will report to the Product Development and Creative Sr. Manager of APAC.Please submit your creative portfolio when applying to this role.Position Summary:Works in conjunction with the Regional Creative Lead to manage product developments and to produce style guides and asset kits to support the Netflix Consumer Products business in the APAC region. The ideal candidate has strong communication, design, illustration, and layout skills, along with experience within entertainment, consumer products, licensing or related industries.Overall Responsibilities:Creatively leads and inspires our consumer products partners - both internal cross functional teams and external licensees & retailersReviews and assists with new product and packaging design from licensees & other business partnersAn eye for detail and discernment; able to recognize incorrect use of Netflix IP on concepts as per the style guide guidelines, required legal attribution on branding and packaging solutionsIn-depth knowledge and familiarity with all active title style guides and art assets being used for product development conceptsAbility to convey creative direction when needed to resolve a concept design issueTime management skills in order to uphold contractual deadlines for approvals at all stages of developmentAbility to produce creative mood boards and set creative vision based on Merchandise strategy per titleDevelop creative to support CP style guides & asset kitsDesign presentation materials for new creative business pitchesCreates multiple design solutions for a given brief; provides a design point of view and communicates it to key stakeholdersAssists the Design Manager in vetting and onboarding third-party creative vendorsDemonstrates strong leadership through self-managing projects and keeping the team informedCommunicates with and solicits feedback from internal stakeholders regularlyPrioritizes workflow effectivelySkills RequiredDemonstrated 8+ years of design experience in the consumer products or the entertainment industry with global business scaleHas exceptional “creative problem-solving” and follow-through skills with the ability to think on your feet - exercise storytelling and joy through creative developmentMust have a keen eye for trends & innovative designStays abreast of current design technologies, including software, hardware, and processesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPresentation skills to communicate with internal and external partnersMust be fluent in Korean and EnglishAbility to manage stress and adversity in a positive, constructive manner during crisis situations and tight deadlinesExcellent multitasking skills with the ability to manage several projects at any one timeRegular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and promptness are requiredAdvanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and the Google WorkspaceInclusionis a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates.
