Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.About the RoleWe are looking to hire a Publicity Manager to join our team in Thailand. You will have strong relationships with media, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and content creators/influencers; an instinctive ability to tell stories; and a strategic mindset. You’ll need to be curious but calm under pressure — able to build and maintain stellar relationships with both internal and external partners.The Publicity Manager will work across the Netflix slate, spanning both local and international titles. You will drive innovative publicity campaigns for our Originals that cut across all genres — from action blockbusters to rom-coms, thrillers to live shows.The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the market. They are unafraid to challenge assumptions and propose better approaches. They make tough decisions without agonizing, communicate candidly and directly, and thrive in an environment free from bureaucracy and hierarchy. They’re scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable handling tasks at all levels.To succeed in this role you will need:An entrepreneurial mindset, given the pace at which we operate;A willingness to think from first principles, challenge established wisdom and work well cross-functionally;The ability to create compelling campaigns in conjunction with marketing and our social teams that tie our titles and talent to our brand;A love of trying new things;High standards in everything you do (we aspire to be excellent);Excellent written and oral communication skills;Willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get work done;To be a role model of inclusion and candor (per ourculture values);The confidence and skills to deal with people at all levels internally and externally.The work:Developing proactive, impactful Publicity campaigns that tie our titles and talent to our brand in conjunction with our marketing and social teams;Crafting promotional strategies to support our brand, raise awareness of our service and promote our titles with a proven record of running successful publicity campaigns utilizing digital platforms and social media.Serving as an expert on Thailand entertainment landscape - in particular being able to convey its specific cultural needs and nuances within Netflix;Acting as a strategic thought partner to our Marketing and Content teams;Working to build strong external relationships within the media, influencers, KOLs, and creative communities - including showrunners, filmmakers and producers;Knows how to create conversations and cultural moments for our shows and films; andProtecting and enhancing the Netflix reputation and brand in Thailand.The successful candidate will:Have 9+ years of experience in PR or marketing within the entertainment, content, or related industriesThink strategically and communicate priorities and goals clearly to stakeholders (fluency in both Thai and English required)Understand Thailand  entertainment landscape and its key stakeholders (a strong network of industry relationships is a plus)Have a deep understanding of how entertainment conversations are created, amplified, and consumedBe an all-rounder who can work cross-functionally and build relationships across different time zonesBe a self-starter eager to test innovative ideas and campaignsLove entertainment and be excited to share stories that bring local content to audiences around the worldHave a strong bias for action — able to be scrappy, adaptable, and effective under tight timelinesBe an independent thinker who can translate information into insight and strategyBe an effective communicator and writer (we love clear thinkers who can debate and write well)Thrive in a hands-on role, adding value at different levels, with strong attention to detail and organizationThe Netflix culture attracts talents who exhibit good judgment, innovation, selflessness, courage, impact, candid communication, passion, and curiosity.
